Alcatel 3V leak reveals FHD+ display and quad-core chip for around $220

  • Specs for the Alcatel 3V have been leaked suggesting it will arrive with an FHD+ display and MediaTek chip.
  • A 3,000 mAh battery and 16 MP + 2 MP camera setup is also expected from the l0w-cost handset.
  • It’s said to go on sale for the equivalent of around $220, but we don’t know when.

Alcatel showed off part of its 2018 lineup at CES, and we’ve already been hands-on with some of the devices, including what we believe to be the Alcatel V3. Though Alcatel was light on details at the show, leaker Roland Quandt (via GSMArena) has offered some speculation as to its specs.

The V3 is expected to ship with a 6-inch, 2160 x 1080 display with a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chip, 2 GB RAM of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space.

There’s also said to be 3,000 mAh battery inside, with 16 MP + 2 MP dual rear cameras and an 8 MP camera at the front. Meanwhile, Quandt speculates that the device will go on sale for around €179—about $220 dollars at today’s exchange rate.

Quandt didn’t touch on release date in his tweet, but with Alcatel still quiet on official product details, it looks like we might be waiting until MWC in late February for more info.
